Procedure Analysis - Lab Interface
Being able to document a clinical encounter is important, but what happens when there’s a need to share the data? Having the ability to exchange data with other systems in a common format is essential. To accomplish this, you need a system that readily works with other systems to capture a patient’s complete history for an electronic health record and relay information to other systems.
Healthcare Messaging
EMB-Medical Practice Management understands the importance of being able to move patient information between systems. From outside laboratories to other care providers, your system must be able to interface and communicate with disparate systems and share critical patient data. Working with standards such as HL7, CareRevolution to be able to send demographic data to and receive details from both internal and external systems. From sending receipt of lab orders to tracking a patient’s appointments, CareRevolution handles it all.
Electronic Health Record
A system supporting an electronic health record has a challenge in digitally storing healthcare information about an individual in order to support continuity of care documentation (CCD),education, and research, while ensuring confidentiality. Using the strict requirements of the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT), CareRevolution is more than just a medical record usable within an individual office. Rather, an EHR capable of being shared between applicable caregivers.
Lab Interfaces
In order to capture complete information for a clinical encounter, CareRevolution has bi-directional lab interfaces with laboratories such as LabCorp and Quest. CareRevolution includes an automatic protocol tracking system to monitor overdue result sets. It also provides integration of in-house analyzers and custom interfaces to additional reference labs.
