CareRevolution® has been designed to address the unique needs of the physician within each practice. Realizing that physicians vary in their style of documenting patient encounters and possess a wide range of comfort levels in working with computers, CareRevolution is designed as a flexible application with multiple options to address this. A provider/practice can choose to use just one or a combination of data capture tools.

Different Options

A physician can choose different options to document a visit. From an interface styled like a traditional paper interface to a powerful voice recognition system, CareRevolution® adapts to the way a physician works. While some adjustments to workflow may be needed for optimum efficiency, the flexibility of CareRevolution® allows its introduction with only a positive impact on the practice.

Familiar Interface

For the doctor who feels more comfortable with the traditional paper chart look and feel, customized Medcin templates are available. These templates are structured to fit the individual physician’s or practice’s methods. During the encounter, the user works through the template to document the encounter. Once the template is complete, the information is converted into a text document and charges are automatically captured. Since the templates utilize a structured knowledge base, the system can analyze your documentation based on the E&M guidelines and provide a suggested code. You gain the benefit of being able to report off such data and build protocols/rules within Clinical Event Manager to be more proactive in patient care. The completed template becomes the progress note for the encounter, eliminating the need for transcription.
